Jennifer Hudson Shares Clever Tips to Avoid Overeating

Sharing is caring! And it’s also the best way to enjoy what you love in moderation.
“If you have a snack and you want to really indulge in something you like, the trick is to share it with everyone. So if it’s a whole pie, I say, ‘Do you want a piece?’ Give it to everybody, then when you come back, you only have a small piece. So you can’t overeat,” Jennifer Hudson says.
When it comes to munching on a slice, JHud also has a trick up her sleeve.

“Normally I only eat thin-crust pizza,” she tells the team. “I have a pizza rule: I can’t have no more than four slices, and if I eat it, it has to be thin crust. I like cheese, I like chicken and cheese. That may sound the same, but you know when you’re limited, that switches it up. I like peppers on my pizza. I don’t get this barbecue pizza… I’m gonna leave that to the children. They like to air fry it.”
The host of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” shared that she loves chicken and jalapeño peppers as her toppings because “I like everything spicy.” Vegan pizza is also a win, and there’s a new favorite on the scene.
“Oh, I was just introduced to the Buffalo one, where they have hot sauce on it and ranch on it, at my son’s birthday party,” Jennifer continued. “We were too busy running around playing, so I only got a bite or two. I am so here for that pizza. Oh my God, it was so good… So that’s the new favorite of mine, but I only eat chicken, turkey, and fish.”
Jennifer added, “When I’m really going out on a limb… get you a deep-dish pizza.”
