‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ Embarks on an Epic Road Trip Across Rhode Island

Jennifer Hudson recently tasked her best friend Walter and show staffer Paige to take a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Rhode Island to enjoy the state’s thriving culinary scene, take in the vibrant scenery, and tour the Gilded Age mansions — in character, of course!
During their road trip around the state, the dynamic duo climbed to the top of a lighthouse, taste-tested Rhode Island’s diverse cuisine, including stuffies (stuffed clams), and visited the State House to meet with Rhode Island Gov. Daniel McKee.
Walter and Paige also toured The Breakers mansion, in Newport, Rhode Island. This historic mansion, owned by the Vanderbilt family, was the largest, most opulent house in the Newport area upon its completion in 1895.
If you’re going to visit a mansion built during the Gilded Age, then you absolutely must dress up in your fanciest duds!
