Jennifer’s Neutral Ensemble Lets Her Silver Neckpiece Stand Out

It’s all about one accessory for Jennifer Hudson!
On Friday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud wore a custom white linen dress with an Alice + Olivia cream blazer and silver Paris Texas snakeskin cowboy boots.
However, the real showstopper was Jenn’s silver neckpiece, which added drama and oomph to her elegant ensemble.
Jennifer and her stylist Verneccia “V” Étienne have been waiting for the right occasion to wear this gorgeous piece, and when the time came, they built the look around the neckpiece.

“It’s all about balance!” V added.
In the episode, Jennifer interviewed Nick and Vanessa Lachey— who have been together for 16 years and have been married for 11. Coincidentally, they also share the same birthday.

View Story“He waited five years to propose,” Vanessa said, to which Nick responded, “We took our time.”
Speaking of the proposal, Nick recalled taking Vanessa to the Montage Laguna Beach before her 30th birthday to enjoy a beautiful dinner overlooking the beach.
“There were bunny rabbits hoppin’ around and [it looked like] a fairy tale,” Nick said about the picturesque scene.
“We take a walk, and we find this perfect bench. I had it all planned out in my head. I get in my pocket, I have the ring in my hand, [and] I get down on one knee,” he said.

View StoryHowever, before Nick asked Vanessa for her hand in marriage, their special moment was almost ruined by 12 “drunken German tourists” stumbling by.
“We stopped, and he put his head in my lap,” Vanessa added.
After waiting for the tourists to clear, Nick got down on both knees — “in full begging position” — and finished his proposal.
“She said yes!” Nick said.
