The First Question JHud Asks Anytime She Travels to a New Place

Forget about a five-star hotel or a trendy new bar… Jennifer Hudson has other priorities when she hits up a new city.

The host of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” admits that top of her list when she travels is figuring out her next meal.

“I love tacos,” she declared. “Anytime I’m traveling and going places, the first question I ask is, ‘Where’s the tacos?’”

In Dallas, Jenn dined at Miriam Cocina Latina — a Mexican and Latin restaurant on Woodall Rodgers Freeway that serves authentic dishes created by Chef Miriam Jimenez.

While breaking bread with Chef Miriam, Jenn got to try delicious dishes including queso verde with poblano peppers, fresh spinach, and roasted corn. She also had ceviche Punta Cana, comprising tiger shrimp, baby octopus, avocado, cucumber, pico de gallo, and jalapeños.

After savoring these yummy dishes, Jenn had one word to describe them: “Flavorish!”

“It’s so… my kids would say ‘flavorish.’ It’s flavorish!”

Jennifer’s favorite taco filling? Chicken!

“[I like a] chicken taco, and I like it spicy,” she said, adding that she likes to do a little dance when she’s excited about good food.

“And now I got to round up all my boys so we can come back here and eat up. When I say everything… everything,” she said.
