On Tuesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud interviewed the “Masked Singer” panelist and asked her to name something surprising about Simon — Jenn’s former “American Idol” judge and Nicole’s former “The X-Factor” co-star.
“He’s really thoughtful. He’s really kind,” Nicole answered, citing his philanthropy. “If I really needed Simon, I could go to him.”
“I’m close with his fiancée Lauren [Silverman],” she added. “I’m in it with the family.”
Speaking of his upcoming wedding, Jenn asked Nicole if she received an invite.

Nicole Was Sweatin’ Her ‘Balls Off’ at One of Her First Jobs
When she was just 15 years old, Nicole worked in the entertainment division at Kentucky Kingdom, an amusement park in Louisville, Kentucky.
“Wow, I made it!” she recalled thinking after getting her first paycheck, worth $300. “It doesn’t get any better than this.”
However, as part of the gig, Nicole had to play the mascot King Louie wearing an extremely warm and uncomfortable costume.
“I was sweatin’ my balls off!” she exclaimed. “Some of you might’ve met me and didn’t even know it.”
In addition to the costume being hot and smelly, the mascot’s feet were extremely big, and once caused her to fall during a performance.
“So, I just laid there through the whole show,” Nicole said.

Nicole told Jenn that she is quite adventurous, specifically when it comes to water sports.
While in Portugal, Nicole went flight boarding, which she said “feels like you’re flying on water.”
However, the scariest thing she’s done is jump out of a plane in Hawaii.
“If you’re going to jump out of a plane, what better place?” she said about the beautiful state.
Initially, while Nicole was flying up, she was calm and collected. However, the plane went higher and higher.
When it was time to jump, the instructor told her to look up and “hit [her] forehead.”
“If you look down, you’re not gonna jump,” she said.
Once Nicole was in the air, she described the experience as “heavenly” and said it was like “being a bird.”
“I love you so much, Jesus!” she recalled saying during the experience.
Whitney Houston Was Nicole’s Everything
When Jenn asked Nicole about her musical inspiration, she declared, “Whitney Houston was my everything.”
“I was 6 years old, it felt like God was singing through a person,” Nicole said. “Her voice provoked so much power.”
At this time, Nicole said she was “really awkward and shy and lanky.” However, Whitney’s music helped her come into her own.
“When I heard [Whitney], everything made sense.”
Nicole Had a Wardrobe Malfunction Before a Live Performance
When Jenn asked Nicole the craziest thing that’s ever happened to her during a show, she told a story of having a wardrobe malfunction right before a live performance on “The X-Factor.”
Noting that this was one of her first performances as a solo artist, Nicole said she was wearing a catsuit that was “fit tighter than a glove.”
While doing some stretches, the fabric near her nether regions completely ripped “wide open”!
Fortunately, “Baby Jesus lives inside my seamstress,” who was able to sew Nicole up literally seconds before she hit the stage.
Did We Mention She Could Sing Like Britney?
Is there anything Nicole can’t do?
When Jenn asked Nicole to impersonate a musician, Nicole said she could sing like Britney Spears.
“’Cause I love Britney — who doesn’t love Britney?” Nicole explained.
That’s when Nicole sang The Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha” but with Britney’s signature voice.
“The key is that you can’t say the first [syllable],” Nicole said.
