Acrobats in JHud’s Audience Wow with Awesome Performance

Jennifer Hudson is impressed with the amount of talent in her live studio audience.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud discovered that there were two acrobats, Mimi Manning and Ahad Kebede, in the crowd. Acrobats are performers who do spectacular gymnastic feats often in the air.

“I have the best audience and a lot of y’all have some interesting lives,” Jenn said. “I love it when you share your stories with me.”

Ahad, who has been an acrobat for 22 years, and Mimi, who has done it for 2.5 years, are part of a troupe in Los Angeles who perform at events including birthday parties and weddings. They recently did their routine at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

When they’re not doing crazy tricks, Ahad works as a nurse practitioner at an ICU and Mimi is a therapy dog trainer.

While Mimi has a boyfriend, Ahad is “single and ready to mingle”!

“I’m gonna step aside because I can’t do that,” Jenn quipped before their performance.

During their act, Ahad lifted Mimi up as she struck graceful poses. At one point, Ahad threw his partner up as she spun around mid-air.

For the finale, Mimi did a handstand in the air, using Ahad’s arms for balance.
