JHud Wishes 'Virgo Sister' Beyoncé a Happy Birthday: 'Forever Dreamgirl'

Effie White is wishing Deena Jones a happy, happy birthday!

Over the weekend on Instagram Story, Jennifer Hudson wrote a touching note to her “Dreamgirls” co-star and fellow Virgo Beyoncé in honor of Bey’s 41st birthday.

Alongside her message, JHud posted a cute 2018 photo of the two taking a selfie at a pre-Grammys gala that honored Jay-Z, Bey’s husband.

“Happy b’day to my Virgo sister & forever ‘Dreamgirl,’” Jenn wrote while tagging Beyoncé’s account and referencing Virgo season, which typically lasts from around August 23 to September 22.

In the hit 2006 musical drama, Jennifer and Beyoncé played groupmates who originally performed in a girl group from Detroit called The Dreamettes. The film was not only a commercial success, but it also scored two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Jenn herself.

Since “Dreamgirls,” Jenn and Bey have been photographed together at various industry events. As seen (at the top), the two attended “Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life,” a 2015 event held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California, that celebrated Wonder’s historic contributions to music.
