Jennifer welcomes Muffy Mendoza, the founder of Brown Mamas, an organization that provides support, friendship, job referrals, and more to moms of color. Brown Mamas connects its more than 7,000 members with a range of resources, from doctors and doulas to educational services and beyond. Our friends at Nemacolin thought this do-gooding mom and her family, who are involved with Brown Mamas and support their community in Pittsburgh, all deserved a break.
