“Dancing with the Stars” host Alfonso Ribeiro joins Jennifer Hudson on the couch.
Jennifer surprises Principal Christian Mahone at South Side Elementary in Champaign, IL, who was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. Since there is a lack of Black male teachers, Christian wanted to become an educator, so students had a role model at school that looked like them. After six years as a teacher, Christian got his master’s and became a principal, and he had been making a big impact in his students’ lives.
