Jennifer Hudson Honors LL COOL J’s Iconic Style with Some Serious Bling
Fashion October 05, 2022
Jennifer Hudson is finding style inspiration in LL COOL J — once again!
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud looked flashy and fabulous in a black Norma Kamali jumpsuit, Jeffrey Campbell black suede boots, and a sparkly black and silver vintage jacket.
Stylist Verneccia “V” Étienne says she Jenniferized the jacket by turning it into a cropped blazer. Last month, V did something similar when she tailored Jenn’s houndstooth Saint Laurent cardigan from being hip-length to mid-waist.
To pay homage to Ladies Love COOL J’s iconic style, Jenn wore a variety of blinged-out accessories, including two gold chain necklaces, a couple of diamond-adorned silver bracelets, several gold rings, and gold bangle that says “EGOT” (because she’s the 17th person to accomplish this feat)!

When it was time to interview the icon on her show, Jennifer wanted to “pile on the rings and necklaces” to celebrate LL’s impact on hip-hop style.
During their interview, Jennifer asked the rapper and actor if he ever thought as a child that he would achieve as much as he has.
In response, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” star said he “had a lot of dreams” as a kid, but “didn’t know I would be doing this stuff.”
