Jennifer Hudson rocked a hot pink Alice + Olivia suit with a purple CAMI NYC lace cami and pink Scarosso heels to interview EGOT winner Viola Davis (original air date September 16, 2022).
According to JHud's stylist Verneccia “V” Etienne, a satin suit is the perfect juxtaposition of softness and severity, and it is a great way to have structure but also be playful.
The host accessorized her bold and beautiful look with personal jewelry, including sparkly diamond earrings, a gorgeous pendant necklace, and a variety of bejeweled bracelets.
Per V, you can dress this look down with a sports bra, T-shirt, and tennis shoes, or dress it up with a satin cami, starched collared shirt, and heels.
Jennifer wore this swanky ensemble while interviewing iconic film and television actress Viola Davis, who came by to promote her new historical epic film “The Woman King," which focused on the Agojie, the all-female warrior unit who protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey in the 19th century.
Viola — dressed in a breathtaking short-sleeved white dress with small, diamond-shaped cutouts — also discussed the hilarious way she “prayed” for her husband Julius Tennon, and how her daughter Genesis lets everyone know she’s Viola Davis’ daughter!
