Music September 01, 2022
Jennifer Hudson knows talent when she hears it!
And when she’s not shining a light on the incredible vocalists of the world as host of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud is going note for note with her peers.
She joined singer and vocal coach Stevie Mackey as the two belted out a beautiful rendition of a gospel song.

The candid backstage moment prompted applause and even dancing from those who happened to be in the pair’s presence.
Even Jennifer wasn’t ready for Stevie to hit the high note. “You better have some range!” she exclaimed during their interaction. “You better sing.”
After the clip was published, Stevie showed appreciation for Jennifer, writing in the comments section, “SO MUCH FUN😂🔥❤️ I LOVE YA.”
Jennifer and Stevie — who credits his faith as a Seventh-day Adventist Christian with shaping him into the musician he is today — go way back. Stevie has worked on “The Voice” for 10 seasons, according to his website. Jennifer served as a coach on Seasons 13 and 15 and was an advisor on Season 3.
Now that Jennifer has her own talk show, you might just get to experience what it’s like to be in the same room as Jenn shows off those powerhouse vocals. Get tickets to be in “The Jennifer Hudson Show” audience!
