Kristen Wells-Collins, cosmetic chemist and founder of Black to the Lab, is transforming STEM by empowering young Black girls through hands-on cosmetic chemistry kits and school programs. Inspired by the lack of Black representation in both STEM and the beauty industry, Kristen created this program to show the next generation that they belong in the lab.
