JHud Surprises a Deserving Teacher & Her Family with a Trip to Mexico!

Jennifer Hudson got into the holiday spirit when she surprised a deserving family from Waldorf, Maryland.

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud shocked Traci Owens, and her children Tia and Nicolas — when she introduced them as her next guests. Jennifer learned that Traci has been a teacher for over 30 years and currently teaches second-graders — aka her superstars! Sadly, the family fell on hard times during the COVID-19 pandemic and are living with friends.

However, the family has not lost their charitable spirit and has helped the homeless by making them toiletry bags for the fall season.

In addition to giving back, the Owens family finds immense joy in the holiday season. Not only did Jennifer surprise the Owens with a festive holiday photo shoot — complete with a winter wonderland set — she gave them some early presents: tickets to come back to Mama Hud’s Holiday Giveaway AND a fabulous vacation!
