From interviews with celebrity guests to Q&As with the live studio audience, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” has been packed with hilarious, touching, and surprising moments. The reunion of the century! On JHud’s very first episode, she caught up with her former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell. Though Simon admits the two “had a banter” between them, he always recognized Jennifer’s talent and determination. At the end of the episode, Simon brought out a delicious cake to celebrate Jenn’s first episode and her 41st birthday.

Amaye Love, a singer from Atlanta, Georgia, thought she was touring the Warner Bros. lot on September 12 when Jennifer surprised her by bringing her out onstage in front of the live studio audience. After the initial shock, Amaye got glammed up and sang a beautiful rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing.”

Pack your bags, y’all! To celebrate her 41st birthday on September 12, Jennifer completely shocked her studio audience when she gifted them a vacation to Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Riviera Nayarit in Mexico!

Mickey Guyton not only made history as the first Black woman to ever be nominated for a Best Country Solo Performance Grammy, but she was also the first artist to perform on “The Jennifer Hudson Show”! Here she is singing “Somethin’ Bout You.”

Best bridal shower ever! During this episode, Jennifer gave bride-to-be Leanne an early wedding gift when she brought out both her bridesmaid/future sister-in-law Razel AND her fiancé Raz. JHud then surprised Leanne and Raz with a luxurious honeymoon in Mexico!

Is there anything JHud can’t do? On September 14, viral father-daughter beatboxing duo Ed Cage and Nicole Paris gave Jennifer a lesson in their craft, and she totally rocked it.

After winning an Emmy for his role on HBO’s “Euphoria,” Colman Domingo came on the show to discuss his animated short “New Moon,” written by himself and his husband Raul Domingo.

On September 15, Jenn got to meet the real-life hero Fritz Sam, an Uber driver who saved two people from a burning building in Brooklyn. To reward his brave actions, Jenn surprised Fritz with a vacation to the Garza Blanca Resort & Spa in Cancun!

Of course, we can’t forget the legendary Sheryl Lee Ralph! After winning the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, the iconic actress stopped by to discuss her viral speech. At the end, Sheryl, who starred in the original “Dreamgirls” Broadway musical, and Jennifer, who won an Oscar for starring in the 2006 film adaptation, put on pink boas and performed a dance from the renowned production.

Is that the King of Pop? Internet sensation Brandon Conway — who went viral for singing a Michael Jackson song on TikTok — found himself under JHud’s spotlight as he performed “The Way You Make Me Feel” on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

The ladies of Fisk University — from the first-ever HBCU women’s gymnastics team — earned a perfect score when they performed an amazing routine on our stage.

OMG! Elaine from Crestline, California, had JHud shook when she revealed that she’s a proud member of the mile high club! Turns out, Elaine and her boyfriend did the deed while en route to Hawaii!
