“The Jennifer Hudson Show” is a place where people can proudly be themselves! June is Pride Month, a time dedicated to celebrating your authentic self. Jennifer Hudson, who recently won a GLAAD Media Award for Excellence in Media, has welcomed many members of the LGBTQ community to share their triumphs, struggles, and loves. Check out memorable moments of Jennifer’s guests sharing their stories of living without shame.

Wanda Sykes spoke to Jennifer about how her wife, Alex, feels about being part of her stand-up routine. “She likes that I talk about her,” the comedian said. “I know where the line is. I can push it a little bit." She remembers when her wife, who is French, took care of her when she had COVID-19 and brought her a cheese tray and a glass of champagne. “I have COVID! I don’t need cheese clogging me up!” Wanda recalled saying.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson chatted about the one annoying habit that gets a rise out of husband Justin. “I’m super micromanaging,” Jesse admitted. He revealed that he’s super specific about what the lighting should be in a room and often dims the lights to create the perfect ambiance. He even dimmed the lights in his house using an app on his phone when he was across the country! “He calls me, and he’s like, ‘Stop dimming the lights!” Jesse remembered his husband saying.

Bobby Berk spoke about preparing to celebrate his 20-year anniversary with his husband, Dewey Do, and revealed why they decided to move to a little village in Portugal part-time. “We fell in love with Portugal,” said the “Queer Eye” star. “It’s so quaint, and the food, the people… the food is so natural. We ate sweets and bread every day and didn’t gain a single pound!”
