JHud & LL Cool J Had Hilariously Different Experiences Working with Horses

Jennifer Hudson and LL Cool J want you to hold your horses!

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud sat down with the legendary rapper and actor to discuss the latest season of his hit show, “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

The MC revealed he does 75% to 80% of his own stunts and joked that “[production tries] to get them done before I do them.”

Though LL described doing these action sequences as a form of “energy,” he also addressed whether he find doing stunts with animals — specifically horses — “scary.”

“It’s scary?” Jennifer asked, to which LL replied, “Well, I won’t let the horse kick me in the nose.”

LL also hilariously quipped, “I’m not used to being on top of something that’s stronger than me.”

While Jennifer revealed she has also worked with horses, she said, “[The] last time I was on a horse, I had to sing to it.” Sounds like LL got the short end of the stick!

During the interview, LL spoke about his friendship with Magic Johnson, who was on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” last month.

Speaking about Magic and wife Cookie’s luxurious yacht parties, he told Jennifer: “We go every year. We have a lot of fun. Magic’s an amazing host. We go around the world. It’s great to be with my big brother, [and to] learn about life. It’s fun. We have a good time.”

When Jenn asked if the group gets recognized when they go out, LL brought up Magic’s undeniable stature.

“Magic is 3 inches from 7 feet. Everybody recognizes him,” LL said, adding that fellow party guest Samuel L. Jackson will “cuss out every fan.”

“They love it, it’s on brand,” he said, adding, “We have a great time [and the] conversations are beautiful. We walk away feeling better about life. That’s a good friend circle.”
