JHud’s Vibrant Vintage Blouse Finally Has Its Moment!

Jennifer Hudson’s colorful top is making its grand debut!

On Monday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud was fun and fabulous wearing a beige Hervé Léger pencil skirt, Black Suede Studio over-the-knee boots, and a multicolored vintage blouse from her own personal collection.

According to stylist Verneccia “V” Étienne, Jennifer has owned this ruffle-adorned shirt for a while but has not worn it previously.

Jennifer is extremely passionate about her fashion pieces and believes each item will “have its moment.” And for the top, this was it!

Jennifer chose this top because of its vibrant pattern and playful ruffles, which is the ultimate item to wear while interviewing the fabulous Leslie Jordan!

During their hilarious interview, the “Call Me Kat” actor — who has over 5.8 million Instagram followers — told Jennifer about the time he performed his one-man show in front of Michelle Obama and her daughters, Sasha and Malia.

In the performance, Leslie says a “dirty word” while telling his story about trying to be a good Christian while growing up gay.

Though he was initially hesitant to say the word in front of the former First Lady, he did, and Michelle and her family “hopped up and high-fived each other!”

Also in the episode, JHud sat down with “Extra” correspondent Rachel Lindsay about her “nervous” interview with Rihanna!

While at the Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 show in 2021, Rachel — who is the first Black Bachelorette in the show’s history —  began “stammering over [her] words” because of the “Work” singer’s “cool” demeanor.

However, at the end, “down to earth” Rihanna gave Rachel “uplifting” words of wisdom.

“[Rihanna] walks [up and says,] ‘Hey! I listen to you. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m watching you,’” Rachel recalled. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ She took the time to support me and encourage me.”
