View StoryOn Wednesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Robin stopped by to discuss the latest season of the hit reality singing competition, in which celebrities perform in costumes and masks to conceal their identity.
During the sit-down, JHud brought up murmurs that she is the Harp, who won Week 1 with a performance of Pink’s “Perfect.”
“People think the Harp is me,” Jenn said.
In response, Robin brought up a good point: “Everyone thinks every powerhouse vocalist is you.”
“Anytime you hear world class vocals, only a few names come up,” he added.

View StoryHowever, Robin clarified that he does NOT think Jenn is the harp, as he knows her voice like the back of his hand.
“I know it’s not you,” he said.
Not only did Robin tour with Jenn — while she was pregnant with David Jr.! — he wrote her 2008 song “Giving Myself.”

In the interview, Robin revealed he first met Jennifer at The Met Gala and was immediately blown away by her voice.
“’I want to write a song for you,’” he told her.
At this point in his career, Robin stopped writing and producing songs for other artists to focus on his own music. However, he made exceptions for A-list artists such as Usher, Lil Wayne, and Jenn herself!
