Meghan Trainor Reveals the Clever Reason Why She Keeps Record Plaques in Her Bathroom
Music September 27, 2022
Meghan Trainor is dishing to Jennifer Hudson about her interesting — and blinged-out — bathroom décor.
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” the “Don't I Make It Look Easy” singer shared to JHud that she keeps record plaques of every song she wrote in her and husband Daryl Sabara’s bathroom.
Meghan explained that it’s a guaranteed conversation starter. “My guests have to pee [and] they check out my success,” she told JHud.
In addition to her own hits, Meghan co-wrote Fifth Harmony’s 2014 tune “Sledgehammer,” and Jennifer Lopez’ 2016 bop “Ain’t Your Mama” — just to name a few!
In fact, many of Meghan’s guests have no idea she penned some of their favorite songs.
“’I didn’t know you wrote that!’” Meghan explained they say to her.

However, having them in the bathroom — “When I pee…” — feels more appropriate.
Meghan’s bathroom also has a his-and-her toilet for her and Darryl.
“Those are our toilets and we pee together ‘cause we’re in love,” Meghan hilariously told Jennifer.
In addition to being madly in love, Meghan explained that having side-by-side latrines makes sense for the couple, who often get up together to care for their adorable son Riley.
