JHud Says Check Your Energy Every Morning to Set the Right Tone for the Day
Lifestyle September 22, 2022
Jennifer Hudson wants you to stop and think about the energy you exude.
On Thursday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud revealed that her “Word of the Day” was “energy,” and how she discovered it while getting a COVID test from our lovely COVID compliance supervisor Chessa.
Jennifer shared how she likes to surround herself with word tokens for her daily affirmations and Chessa picked a token that read “energy” because it spoke to her. Coincidentally, the word resonated with Jennifer as well.

View Story“I’m very sensitive to energy,” Jenn told her live studio audience. “I could walk into a room and be like, ‘Ooo!’ I know the feeling of it. Sometimes I could read a thought.”
However, Jennifer made a distinction between the positive energy one puts out and the negative energy that infiltrates your mind, body, and spirit.
“Sometimes energy can get ahold of your spirit. Sometimes you may be feeling a certain energy that’s not yours,” Jenn explained. “And sometimes you have to stop and think, ‘Where’s that coming from? That’s not of my character. That’s not my energy. It’s not even my issue or situation.’”

“It’s just a little something I want to make people conscious of. Check your energy,” she said. “Then think of the energy you’re setting yourself up with for the rest of the day. It’s going to come back to you too.”
“So I hope that makes a little sense. If you’re feeling down, if you’re feeling confused, if you’re feeling extra antsy or happy, you might be like, ‘Whose energy is this that I’m picking up?’ There are all types of energies out there.”

“So, it’s good to set the tone of the day with what energy you want to put out and to exude.”
