It’s as if Michael Jackson was performing for JHud!
Viral sensation Brandon Conway stopped by “The Jennifer Hudson Show” (original air date September 16, 2022) in his first televised appearance and brought the house down with his cover of MJ’s “The Way You Make Me Feel.”
In July 2022, the singer from Winder, Georgia, became an Internet phenomenon when a TikTok video of him crooning to a song by the King of Pop amassed over 32 million views.
After the 22-year-old impressed the audience with his vivacious vocals, Jennifer Hudson praised his performance and almost threw her shoe — which she did on “The Voice” whenever she was blown away by a contestant!
During their sit-down, Brandon revealed he first began singing when he was 9 years old. It started as a hobby, but he didn’t believe it could ever lead to a career.
When he posted his now popular TikTok, he said he hoped to get 2,000 likes. Fast-forward to today, and the sensational clip has received over 6 million!
Though Brandon admitted that singing for the first time on television felt surreal, he said he knew he had to buckle down and get the job done.
As to why he chose this MJ song, Brandon said he wanted to show off his vocal range, and felt good energy from the hit tune.
