Jennifer’s Sister — the ‘OG JHud’ — Writes Touching Note for 41st Birthday!
September 13, 2022
Julia “Ju Ju” Hudson — aka the original JHud — is sharing a meaningful message to younger sister Jennifer in honor of her 41st birthday.
On Monday, also the premiere of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Julia posted several photos of her and Jenn throughout the years to celebrate JHud’s special day.
In her sweet message, Julia exclaims that she is “extremely very proud” of Jennifer’s accomplishments — particularly her being the 17th and youngest female EGOT — but is most gratified that Jenn remains the same beautiful person who has never lost her faith.
“I’m so extremely very proud of you,” Julia wrote, adding, “Only a fool wouldn’t be proud of you, all while remaining the same beautifully you, never losing your faith and always going after what you want.”

View StoryWhile reflecting on Jennifer’s birthdate, September 12, 1981, Julia says this day was “the best date” because it was when Jenn “became my SISTER.”
Not only did Jennifer teach Julia “how to put my shoes on the right foot,” Jenn is the only person who Julia has seen “get on a bicycle with no training wheels just simply from instruction and ride on off without falling [with] nobody balancing u.”
“u jus had and you’ve been riding through life ever since. [You are] sure of who you are and [are] confident in you,” Julia continued. “Happy 41st bday baby Girl.”
