The Sweet Gift Jennifer Shares with Celebrity Friends and Crew

Jennifer is revealing her go-to gifts for famous pals when she wants to give them a little slice of her home city. Jennifer visited her favorite candy and chocolate shop — The Fudge Pot on North Wells Street in Chicago, Illinois raved about how she likes to feed fellow celebrities with a sweet tooth.
“Nothing compares,” Jenn proudly declared when asked if she would shop at another sweet treat eatery. “Everybody be like, ‘Where did you get this chocolate? The Fudge Pot in Chicago!’”

Jenn grabs the store’s goodies — which include sea salted caramels, milk chocolate-covered Oreos, and handmade fudge — for crew members on her various projects.
“I always share them on productions,” she shared. “I’m sure I’ve shared them on ‘The Voice’ with the other coaches on the show. I just brought some to Philly for the movie [I filmed].”
Being the “giver” that she is, Jennifer lays out various chocolates and candies on a table no matter what country she’s in.
“I share with the whole crew. I call it my ‘yummy moments.’ I love to feed everyone,” she said, “I’ve traveled [with The Fudge Pot] overseas and everything.”
After being introduced to the shop — “It was brought to me” — JHud makes sure to pay a visit whenever she travels home.
“I haven’t stopped coming here ever since [I was introduced.] When I get home to Chicago, before I leave and as soon as I get here, I have to stop by here,” she explained.
As for her order, JHud likes to get milk chocolate without nuts and the toffee, also a favorite of her sister’s. She also grabs extras, such as the truffle balls, and gives them to her good friend Walter.
“I can’t eat it all by myself. So what you do, when you can’t eat it all by yourself, you share it with somebody else,” she said, adding, “[Chocolate is] my love language. Chocolate is my therapy.”
Jennifer loves The Fudge Pot so much that she even joked she might trade in her superstardom and become an employee at the store!
“One day they’ll come in [and I’ll say], ‘What would you like today? Do you want the Jennifer special? I already have a box for you.’”
