Jennifer Hudson Reveals Who She’d Cast as Her Rom-Com Love Interest

Jennifer has certainly had her pick of love interests when it comes to her movie roles, and the EGOT winner is opening up about who she would pick to reunite with should the opportunity arise again.

When a fan asked who she’d cast as her love interest if she were the lead in a rom-com, Jennifer appeared to have a clear favorite.
“I’d better say Marlon Wayans because he’d be upset with me,” JHud said. “You’re trying to get me in trouble!”
Jennifer won an Academy Award for portraying Effie White in the hit 2006 musical drama “Dreamgirls,” adapted from the 1981 Broadway musical of the same name. Her love interest was played by Jamie Foxx.
When she portrayed Aretha Franklin in “Respect,” her steamy scenes were alongside Marlon Wayans.
“I’m gonna stick with Marlon. Now I want more gifts, Marlon,” she joked. “Marlon played my love interest in ‘Respect,’ and that was the best co-star I’ve ever had.
“Mind you, Jamie Foxx was my co-star in ‘Dreamgirls.’ Now he would sing me down and play the piano.”
Jennifer added, “But Marlon, he got me gifts, would fix me food, got me spa treatments, massages… He got me gifts and treats… He still sends me stuff.”
