Jennifer Dazzles in a Rainbow Trench Coat Given to Her by a Fab Friend

Jennifer Hudson gets by with a little help from her stylish friends!
On Monday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” JHud looked fresh as can be in a magenta dress, purple stocking boot-heels, and a fabulous multicolored coat — a gift from her friend and hairstylist Albert Morrison.
According to stylist Verneccia “V” Étienne, when Albert saw the colorful garment, he immediately said it was Jennifer personified in a trench coat. V said Jennifer just had to wear it on the show.
Albert has styled Jennifer’s hair on a number of occasions and even helped transform her into Sister Mary Clarence, Whoopi Goldberg’s character in the “Sister Act” franchise, for our epic Halloween episode.
Jennifer accessorized her look with sparkly bracelets, diamond earrings, and a necklace that read “Jennifer.” Let ’em know!
During the episode, JHud interviewed iconic singer Chaka Khan, who said she is so proud of Jennifer and her new daytime talk show.

View Story“This is how you get your boots on the ground in a big way, the best way possible,” Chaka told Jennifer. “You’re setting your own tone. You’re doing the stuff that you love and it’s feeding your heart so you can give good food back.”
“That’s right,” Jennifer said in response to Chaka’s metaphor. “’Cause I’m going to feed you!”
Chaka also commented on Jennifer’s high-fashion shoes, saying that her daughter recently sent her a photo of an identical pair.
“Where do they begin and end?” Chaka recalled asking her daughter.
“It goes all the way up there,” Jennifer explained.
Jenn also complimented Chaka on her gorgeous army-green outfit, saying, “You better be sharp. This is diva ready!”
