I can’t believe it’s the first day of April already! Happy April Fools’ Day! I haven’t played any jokes on Walter today (YET), but I am listening to Aretha Franklin’s “April Fools” to celebrate! Check it out — it’s on one of my favorite albums, “Young, Gifted and Black.”
Speaking of Aretha, did you watch the show on Wednesday? The legendary Reba McEntire stopped by the Happy Place and we sang “just a little bit” of Aretha’s “Respect” together. It was such a treat to hear the Queen of Country cover the Queen of Soul! You can watch the full clip here.
