She’s Changed So Many Lives… Now It’s Time to Change Hers!
September 16, 2026
Sponsored by Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Riviera Nayarit | Stephanie Campbell has dedicated her life to uplifting the community that raised her, and Jennifer Hudson is celebrating her in a BIG way!
Stephanie serves as the executive director of Prospering Places, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underserved communities in Ward 8, Washington, D.C., where she was born and raised. Her mother, Renee Winchester, wrote to “The Jennifer Hudson Show” to share the incredible work her daughter does.
From leading workforce development programs and supporting local entrepreneurs to creating youth initiatives and school supply drives, Stephanie works tirelessly to create new opportunities for her community. She leads from the front lines, always reminding others that their circumstances don’t have to define their dreams.
Stephanie also recently celebrated a major milestone of her own, getting engaged to her partner of 10 years, Lamont Kenner!
When Stephanie and her mom visited the Happy Place, Jennifer had an unforgettable surprise waiting. Stephanie’s fiancé, Lamont, and their 8-year-old son, Zaire, joined the celebration before “The Jennifer Hudson Show” surprised the entire family with a getaway to Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Riviera Nayarit!
After spending so much time giving back to others, it was finally Stephanie’s turn to be celebrated!
