Single Mom Adopts 3 Brothers and Gets the Surprise of a Lifetime!

Sponsored by Walt Disney World | Kayla Daniels’ journey to motherhood began in 2021 when she became a foster mom to 7-month-old twins Kaden and Jaden. After learning they had an older biological brother, MJ, who also needed a foster home, Kayla immediately opened her home to him, determined to keep the brothers together.

Almost overnight, Kayla went from having no children to raising three boys under the age of 2 on her own. After three years in foster care, the brothers officially became her sons in 2024, a day Kayla calls the best of her life.

Through family health challenges and even surviving a serious car accident, Kayla says her boys have remained her greatest blessing. She now shares their story to show that families don’t have to look traditional and that single people can foster and adopt, too.

Kayla and her boys visited the Happy Place to share their inspiring story, but Jennifer Hudson had one more surprise in store! After learning Kayla had been saving to fulfill her dream of taking the boys to Walt Disney World, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” surprised the family with the trip of a lifetime!
